Hành tây bóc vỏ, cắt đôi. Cà rốt gọt vỏ cắt khúc. Cần tây cắt khúc ngắn. Cho tất cả rau củ và tôm vào nồi, thêm ngập nước, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối, đun chín tôm thì vớt tôm ra, bóc vỏ. Ngắt đầu tôm cho lại nồi đun cho ra nước. Sau đó cho mì vào luộc chín vớt ra để ráo.
Đun nóng 4 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho tôm đã bóc vỏ vào chiên 2-3 phút cho săn lại thì rớt bớt dầu, giữ lai khoảng 1-2 muỗng canh, thêm vào sốt cà chua, ngò tây khô xay nhỏ, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối, 1 muỗng cà phê đường, đun cho hỗn hợp hơi sệt thì tắt bếp.
Cho mì vừa luộc vào đĩa, thêm sốt cà chua và tôm vừa đun sao cho vừa đủ ăn, trộn đều là có thể dùng.
